Non-Asbestos Gaskets

These gaskets are used in different industrial applications such as in compressors, marine engineering, diesel and petrol engines, boilers etc. The temperature of application ranges from 100 °C (212 °F) to 600 °C (1112 °F). The pressure of application ranges from 10 bars (10.19 kg/cm2) to 150 bars (152.96 kg/cm2). These gaskets are capable of catering to the distortions between the flanges. They compress in the imperfections of the flanges to create initial seal on application of sealing force. These gaskets are capable of withstanding chemical attack from the media being handled and also the effects of high temperatures and high pressures.

Compressed Asbestos Gaskets (CAF)

These gaskets are used in different industrial applications. The temperature of application ranges from 380 °C (716 °F) to 650 °C (1202 °F). The pressure of application ranges from 29.42 bar (30 kg/cm2) to 196.13 bar (200 kg/cm2). These gaskets are capable of catering to the distortions between the flanges. They compress in the imperfections of the flanges to create initial seal on application of sealing force. These gaskets are capable of withstanding chemical attack from the media being handled and also the effects of high temperatures and high pressures.

Rubber Gaskets

Material used:

EPDM PTFE
Silicon Rubber Nitrile (Buna-N) (NBR) Rubber
Natural Rubber Neoprene Rubber

Applications: Weather insulation, vibration dampening, electrical absoprtion, noise reduction, packaging and cushioning etc.

Graphite, Paper and Cork Gaskets

Graphite, Paper and Cork gaskets find their application in electrical, automobile industry etc. and are used in the carburetors, gearboxes, switchgears, transformers etc. They are cheap and have very good oil resistive properties.

Foam Gaskets

Foam, or sponge, gasket is a gasket made from different foam rubbers. These materials are commonly used to manufacture equipment seals, dust seals, moisture seals, splash seals, lid seals, various kinds of filters, and speaker gaskets.
